Post 9 Changes to my study programme

This was a difficult year because I had many new classes and many new habits to incorporate into my life. Also this year I began to live alone with my partner and that although I thought it would be a relief was another thing to worry about. I think that next year I will have to order myself in terms of making changes and challenges to obtain better academic results and to be able to cope with my life in a better way.

First, I think I will have to change my residence and look for a closer one because I am now living in Isla de Maipo and it takes me two hours to get to the university every day. Second in the first semester I will have to take more courses, that is, to take all the credits and this semester I will take some courses to do the practice 1. Third I think I will have to continue making myself a habit of studying every day, because, although I have tried since I entered the university, I still can’t achieve it. And finally I'll have to stop going out every weekend with my friends because that definitely made me fall behind in my deliveries, reports, tests and exams.

I just hope that 2019 is a better year for me and I can continue with this of wanting to be a geographer and pass all the courses I take and also the ones I take and I still do not know if I will pass. I hope to pass the English test next Thursday.

Post 8 Between Los Vilos and La Serena

I’ll have summer holidays if I finish this academic semester. If I finally manage to finish this semester before February I plan to travel to the city of Los Vilos in the Coquimbo region with my friends. Los Vilos is a coastal city where the sea water is freezing, outside Los Vilos there is nothing but dry and ugly hills and not many people live there. In the day you can do activities such as going to the typical beach to do the typical things, eat a restaurant the typical food of a coastal city and those things. But in the night everything becomes very entertaining because with my friends we go out to the street like many other people and at the edge of the beach you can stay all night without anyone bothering you. I met many friends there and try many entertaining things that I hope to try again.

After the vilos I want to visit my grandparents in Tongoy, that is a little boring town but the important thing is that I will visit my grandparents whom I love very much. Finally my friends and I will go to La Serena to the house of my friend Lamari that I once met in Los Vilos and now she invites us there and we will meet her friend Huana. I know that in La Serena there are many fun things to do and see. I hope everything goes well and I hope to end this blessed semester soon.

Post 7 Free themed

The topic that I choice for answer this post is about the prostitution and if could to be legal. Well, my opinion is that why can’t? It’s a work, maybe for someone is a rare work but doesn’t matter, some people believe that studying architecture is also freaky but I don´t hear that opinions. We can’t hear all the opinions, it’s impossible; we have to hear importance opinions like this.

My argument about this topic is firstly we must stop the prejudices about sex and about jobs like this, we are a very conservative society and we need to be less like that. Secondly, many women and men put their lives in danger because they work clandestinely and illegally and if it were legal there would be less danger because they’d not work in hiding and in the dark. And thirdly, why it could not be legal? I still don’t understand it.

If I could do a disclaimer to my argument and think as people that think that prostitution must stay illegal I could say that if the prostitution is legal all the world will be prostitute or children will saw the prostitution in the park and in the street and that is horrible, awful, chaotic as hell but I’ll don’t do that. I'm still believing that is a good idea and in conclution I’d like to the prostitution will be legal.

Post 6 Postgraduate study

Well, I’ve not thought yet if I want to do a postgraduate study. I think that I’m so focus in my present career, thus I really want to finish my currently study and then I could spend my time thinking about that. But, this is a task for English class so I must to answer that question.

I’d like to do a post-graduate study for the next reasons:

-          To have better works

-          To be millionaire

-          To have a big car

-          To be more intelligent

-          To be more attractive

-          To know important people

I don’t know if a postgraduate study could give me all that, but i imagine those are good reasons to continuous study after I’ll finish my career.

A subject that I’d like to study in a postgraduate study is about climate change because after to write my before blog post I’ve felt interested to know more about that topic. I’d like to do that study in abroad because here in Chile there are few postgraduate to do for a Geographer and I’d like to do it in a part-time course too and thus live a part-time experience in abroad place.  Well in conclusion I’d like to do a postgraduate study of weather in abroad do it in a part time course. I hope that could be possible and when I’ll finish my currently study I’ll rethink it again.
